Bloomberg brings the world of money to listeners with "the first word" on breaking economic, business and market news as it happens, around the globe. Anchor Ken Prewitt reports live from New York, with world and national news anchored by Jon Bascom in Washington, and contributions from Bloomberg reporters in Europe and Asia. We "zero in" on the markets on the 0's, at 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 past the hour, and the top of every hour. Then, at 7am, Tom Keene joins Ken Prewitt for Bloomberg Surveillance - the show professionals turn to for information about their money, with insight from the smartest people. Prewitt and Keene have the economy and the markets "under surveillance" and distill them down to need-to-know insights that make for a must-listen three hours.

Host Kathleen Hays looks at major economic stories of the day, and then brings us "inside" those stories. The show provides more detail and context than time usually permits in typical newscasts. Market updates are provided every ten minutes, on the 0's, at 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and the top of the hour.

Each weekday, as trading gets underway, we follow the trends and themes that emerge in the trading day. Our lineups of guests include analysts, fund managers and corporate executives. Charlie Stein anchors BLOOMBERG On the Money with last minute news and insights. Live updates from the floor of the NYSE are delivered by Phil Gregory.

Weekdays 2 pm - 6 pm ET
Bloomberg counts down to the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange each market day. Sal Giangrasso and Karen Moskow host from Bloomberg's world headquarters in New York, while Phil Gregory reports from the NYSE itself. Interviews with company executives, analysts and money managers provide context as the trading day draws to a close. Then, at 4PM, Moskow and Giangrasso deliver “the final word” on the top business stories of the day.
